This is advertised as a real walnut veneer. It is not. You can sand through the printed pattern in a few swipes. Sanding shows the walnut is a pattern printed onto some sort of gray plastic/epoxy layer.
Whats worse is when I asked for a refund I was repeatedly told the product was in fact real wood. By customer service, and apparently by Creality's own product designers. I sent photos of the fake surface and got the same reply, its real wood.
They refused to pay return shipping stating " for returns not caused by our company, you will need to bear the shipping costs to send the goods back to the warehouse"
My return is cause by the fact they are lying about the product.
I will never buy from Creality again, if this is how they treat there customers over such a small and strait forward thing, I cant imagine actually purchasing an expensive machine from them.
The doubling down on misrepresentation is the heart of the problem here.
